About Us: Rooted in Community

Our story began with a few shared posts and a passion for adventure. Originally a small group of Pacific Northwest owners from the Braxton Creek Bushwhacker/Free Solo OG Facebook group, we decided to turn our Facebook threads into a real-world gathering near Coos Bay, Oregon. What started as 'talking shop' about trailer mods and sharing road stories has blossomed into a community of lifelong friends from across Oregon, California, Utah, Indiana, and even as far as Canada.

From that very first gathering, crabbing off the docks and hosting a massive seafood boil has been our signature tradition. While Coos Bay is where our roots are, we’re excited to hit the road and bring the West Coast Bushwhacker spirit to new horizons, exploring more of the coast and welcoming new friends to our circle.

What to Expect

If this is your first rally, you’re in for a weekend of great company. Here is a quick look at the "staples" of our events:

  • "Talking Shop" & Mod Tours: Small campers are built for customization. Expect to spend time wandering between trailers, swapping tips on modifications, storage hacks, and the best gear for tiny (but mighty) traveling.

  • The Annual Crab Boil: A tradition since day one! We head to the docks, catch some fresh crab, and host a community seafood boil. It’s messy, delicious, and the heart of our gathering.

  • Stories Around the Fire: Whether you’ve traveled from just down the road or across the Canadian border, the campfire is where we all connect. We share road stories, favorite hidden campsites, and plenty of laughs.

  • A "No-Pressure" Vibe: While we have organized activities, the goal is always relaxation. Join in for the group events or just enjoy the coastal breeze from your own camp chair.

  • Community Support: Need help with a tricky backup or a fussy hitch? You’re surrounded by experts. We look out for one another and ensure everyone feels like part of the family by the time the weekend is over.
